How do you charge? Do you take a retainer?

No retainer. It is contingency, so you are charged only when you hire. Every placement includes a warranty period we negotiate up front, and the invoice due date is tied to that warranty period.

What is JAN?

JAN (Job Applicant Navigator) is the AI resume-screening assistant I built and run on every search. It scores each candidate against your criteria and explains the score. It is also available on its own at janscreening.com.

Do you also build or fix recruiting operations?

Yes, as a scoped project or an interim lead. I stand up or rebuild the function: roadmap, ATS, sourcing, scorecards, and benchmarks. It is billed as a project or monthly, not a search fee, and it is not the default engagement.

Who do you work with, and where are you based?

I am based in New York City and work with AI and SaaS teams across the US, remote or in person, roughly seed through Series D+. Some do not have a recruiting team yet; others have one but need extra hands for a big hiring push.
